We're not asleep at the wheel - just in the process of making big changes.
Anyone who's ever switched from one computer
operating system to another can relate.  The happy news:
NO MORE PC!  I have finally switched to MAC and I'm ecstatic.
Still working through migration issues and utilizing PC software to
maintain my website and others I've built - outside of that, MAC
is going to vault my photo and graphic arts career into the stratosphere!

The BIG news: it's cold.  No, really - it's COLD.  Great time to go birding and
photograph - they'll stay put if you walk up to them and blow a
foghorn.  They're frozen like popsicles.  Soon to be posted:
pics of footprints taken from West Main in Fakahatchee.
Please check out my son's website and new business,
Everglades Adventure Tours.  We are fortunate to be experiencing
early success and interest beyond our wildest imagination
as the company has toured a number of enthusiastic photo journalists,
filmmakers/cinematographers and travel writers as well as
very satisfied first time customers.  Experience the Florida Everglades
the way the early settlers and Glades men did - via pole boat.
These are private guided tours to many areas that require
extensive local knowledge to access.
Take an eco-tour you and your family will never forget!

Below is a link to a magic moment
in time when Shurr Adventures took me
out to photograph the white pelicans. (click here for video slideshow)

They are booking trips for the upcoming winter season now.
This is a great opportunity for your next kayak adventure!

We are all thankful for the beauty we enjoy here in the
Florida Everglades and invite you to experience our magic!

Thank you for visiting my site.

The book  and picture quality are both excellent and I encourage you to purchase a
copy and several others for your friends and family.  I hope you will enjoy looking at
some of my favorite pictures taken over the last several years.
